Old Shop Demo

The large commercial unit was being reduced to a 1/3 of its size to make way for 4 new residential units. The demolition works stated by weeks of work inside due to the age of the property and the vast maze of wiring, pipework, multiple ceilings and asbestos. Before we could demo the actual structure, we had to build a new wall to contain the remaining shop. Our 5 ton machine made quick progress on the structure and within a matter of days the building was down. The access for this project was so tight that all the waste had to be removed in 4 ton loads, with our full waste carriers licence we removed 250 ton of rubble, 20 tons of timber, 18 ton of general waste and nearly 2 ton of specially wrapped and sealed asbestos.
