Kitchen in 2nd Floor Flat

This kitchen was in a 2nd floor flat, but nothing is ever a problem for our guys. The customer wanted to update the kitchen but without spending a fortune. We agreed that we would do a fixed install price for the customer who wanted to arrange her own kitchen units and worktops.

When we 1st turned up there was bits of kitchen everywhere! To keep the cost down, the customer has been busy putting their own new units together and had also ripped out their existing kitchen. Now it was our turn, after disposing of the old kitchen and making some room, we had to take the wall back to the brick work, we then did all new electrics and plumbing followed by new plaster boarding and plaster. Finally it was ready or the kitchen to be installed.

The floor and wall units went on first followed by the worktop. We finished off with some tiling, fitting a foam back vinyl floor, installing the upstands and then fitting the appliances including a smart radiator, some new lighting, oven/hob, washing machine, fridge, sink and a new extractor fan. All wrapped up with a bit of silicon.

The whole project from when we first turned up to completion was 2 calendar weeks, which including drying time for the new plaster and the paintwork!
